Were Open From 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM
Therapy via withinu can be accessed by referral from either:
There are lots of other ways to access Therapy.
As examples, you could pay to see a private Counsellor/Therapist or you could access the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service via your GP. These are both valuable services.
withinu offers you the same access to private Counsellors/Therapists though our model is that the cost of your sessions will be covered by your employer or your Local Authority (should either work alongside withinu).
Our belief is that EVERYONE should have access to Therapy/Counselling, regardless of what they are experiencing, their background or their personal financial status.
Sessions are booked via the withinu website. It’s a simple, calendar booking session where you choose a time and date and we do the rest for you.
Once you have been referred to withinu, you will be given a private login to your own confidential account where you can book sessions, contact us for any technical support issues and access all the extra benefits of withinu suchlike:
withinu sessions are run via Microsoft Teams. An ultra-secure, video calling software programme that can be run on a mobile, tablet or laptop. It’s the go-to video calling tool of the NHS and most local authorities throughout the UK.
You don’t have to purchase anything, nor do you have to create an MS Teams account. You simply book your session, receive a confirmation email from us, download the app if required by a link we send you and then simply click to access the meeting at the time.
It’s not a problem.
In order to counter the potential of this happening, once you have booked your first session, we will arrange a quick ten minute, ‘ice breaker’ meeting with your Counsellor a few days before, so you can both meet, have a quick, informal chat to ensure that you are both a good fit for each other.
We find that this eliminates any nerves before the first session and helps for you to decide whether you feel comfortable.
If after this, you do not ‘click’, we will arrange for you to meet with another Counsellor and arrange another ‘ice breaker’ until we get it right for you!
Privacy, confidentiality and security are the most important things for anyone receiving therapy and they are the most important things to us also.
NOBODY at withinu has access to ANYTHING that is discussed in ANY of your sessions. What is covered is STRICTLY between you and your counsellor. Sessions are not recorded at any time and no one else can access your session whilst you are in it.
We utilise end-to-end encryption with 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), meaning all meetings are ultra-secure.
